Hi Andrew, I don't know if you already know, but you might want to get the January 2009 Aussie Street Machine magazine it has a bare metal Plymouth Barracuda on the front cover. Then turn to page 135 there is a photo there that you might like. Cheers Peter

Hi Andrew - If you can not find that issue, you might want to wait until this issue is in NZ. As i got mine while i was on holiday in the Gold Coast.

Sweet as, it sure looks good.
What made me recognize the car was the green Ford emblem on the grille.
Cheers Peter

update. my escort stopped in the middle of the road and stereo and other electrics died both indicaters locked on not flashing. then massive amounts of black and redish colour smoke billowing out of bonnet. the bonnet release cable had melted so couldn't open the bonnet. i was getting ready to sit there and watch it burn down as the fire briade seemed to be taking their merry time. my boss happened to be driving past and luckily she had a fire extinguisher and we put it out. but the car was still stuck in the middle of the road in the main street of wanganui. after some help from the fire brigade (had just turned up as the fire was getting put out) managed to pry open bonnet, the bonnet stand had touched the battery and ached out causing the wiring lume to instantly burn up and melt everywhere all cables in the front half of the wire lume are buggered hopefully the rest is ok? we towed it straight to the auto sparky and haven't heard anything since. so moral of the story. always have a fire extinguisher!! scarred the crap out of me!! maybe photos i am not sure yet if i want to post them. will be ok this time should be driving it again soon.

Escort will be taken back to wanganui very soon for complete rebuild of mechanicles and a new paint job.
diff, driveshaft couplings, engine all gave up at once.
Paint job, will either be the same colour as what it is now or a very slightly different green.
will keep you posted

I like the colour it is now. but this time we will get the paint made to the right specs for the toxic colour instead our guess, we had when choosing the last green.
keen to see the green you mean tho.
